We got our hair cut... me just a trim... Moo, a whole new do!
We cut a lot off. She is now sporting a classic a-line bob. Shorter in the back, longer in the front... and it is really cute! I started to get a bit nervous as the hair started to fall to the floor, but it was well worth it!
my little cutie patootie!
a dear friend of mine lost her husband yesterday morning.
He was only 46... and died from pulmonary edema - basically he drowned in his own fluids.
He was very sick for a few weeks and didn't think it was bad enough to warrant a doctors visit. He ended up collapsing because he couldn't get enough oxygen...
please let this little blurb serve as a warning.... if you are sick for more than a few days and it doesn't seem to be getting better, please see you doctor!
I have a friend in need of prayers... if you have a second, hug those that you love close. You never know what God has planned for their next moment.
but I can't tell you about them.... YET....
*queue suspense music*
some good things are happening, and I am majorly excited... I can start spilling the beans... soon!
Chuck Liddell will be dancing this season on Dancing with the Stars! UFC is hooking up with DWTS! A calm peace will come over our living room this season! and I can't wait! :)
30 days... hmmmm well at least I was here right?
We had ambitions of going to the zoo yesterday - to ride "skyfari" but the weather was not in league with us at all. It stormed most of the morning... so we stayed at home. Bummer!
Today, while Moo is off at church, I am dragging Ken to Super Target. I have discovered that they are much cheaper for frozen food items than the store I currently go to. He has very specific tastes so I am making him go with me, so I don't "get it wrong"! He told me that I will have to "keep up" with him because he doesn't dally. Obviously he doesn't read a lot a labels then. I spend half my time in the store pouring over ingredient listings. NO NUTS NO SOY NO CORN FAT GRAMS DIETARY FIBRE GRAMS CALORIES... no wonder I wear bifocals!
Today {we are} storytellers will close. It was such an inspiring place to be... It will be missed....
but it looks as if I will be getting the chance to work with some of the gals in the very near future... keep your fingers crossed!
Moo has four days off... wish I did too!
She had gym class today. And has talked of nothing else... :)
She has decided that she is going to be a crossing guard... and has started practicing her skills... in the grocery store! She is determined to keep shoppers safe!
All my photog friends and scrappers: Kathryn Wilson, who I admire greatly has a new blog that is up and running... http://www.livelovecapture.com/ check it out for some inspiration.... and maybe some surprises coming soon!
Tomorrow is a big day, if we can dodge thunderstorms, we will be going to the zoo!! Wish us luck!
I was told that a child was put in time out... guess what???? It WASN'T Moo!
Hee hee hee!
When I picked her up,she was excitedly telling me where everything was and everything she did... she won a toy and had all sorts of stuff to give me to fill out. She had nap time and recess and all the stuff in between... she also had some chocolate milk which is a no no... left word with the school that I have no problem with milk, as long as it's white milk and not chocolate...
just trying to keep up with all her chatter is wearing me out - bed time for me shortly!
on the scrapping front: looks like I will have a home or two after all! SSSSHHHHHH.... I will tell you all about it later!
Lunch: almost done
Clothes: packed up and ready
Shoes: packed up and ready
Tissue: Packed
Snacks: 18 days worth packed and ready
Book bag: with other items
Moo: watching a movie, hopefully on her way to sleep
Mom: exhausted!
Moo goes off to Kindergarten... grandma, bless her heart, will make sure she gets there...
and I will pick her up when the day is done...
Tonight we went to the class room, to get acquainted... Moo already made a friend, her name is Miranda... she also met the principal
kinda cool that she will be attending where he dad once went... not that Ken was there in 1954, it's just cool!
I think she is ready for school... I just hope school is ready for her!
