Oh my goodness! Can this be??? It's hard to believe that she's growing up so fast!
We were supposed to celebrate her birthday last night, but had to postpone till next weekend cause little Missy went and got herself sick - so we have rescheduled for next Saturday night! But all was not lost on the original party day.... the grandma's came through with flying colors! Grandma Jane brought over a BIG pink box FULL of all sorts of art supplies! Moo spent most of yesterday coloring, gluing. painting and mess making! Last evening we went to Target where Moo spent the money Grandma Bette sent for her birthday on a back pack with wheels! She has been wanting one for a while, so it is very cool that she bought it herself!
Got my Christmas cards done! They were going to be a real neat folded card, all customized - very cool... went to order them and realized I was getting ready to spend $65.00 on cards that were going to get tossed out after the holidays... I decided to go cheap.... I am now sending cool Christmas post cards! Please don't think less of me because I was being frugal... we have a slew of birthdays to prepare for in the next coming months...
and speaking of birthdays.... what do you get boys that have birthdays soooo close to Christmas??? Ken's birthday is right before Christmas, and Jon's is right after... OY they are so hard to buy for! For Jon, we can buy games for I guess, but Ken is another story...
we both really like this black tree wall art from signals but not suitable as a birthday gift
he doesn't like the clothes I pick out for him - picky, picky...
I know absolutely ZERO about his hobby...
maybe I will just take him to dinner and call it good.
40 days till Christmas... ladies and gentlemen get your wallets out!
we have been blessed with gorgeous weather, the past two days... after days of rain & snow in October, the last day was gorgeous!
Since I last posted, a new shootout was unveiled "Spooky & Fun" is the theme...
entry number 1
It is my favorite Halloween decoration - instead of snow bats fly around when it's shaken!
Then we got lost in the country for a day....
Linda "drove a tractor" to bring back memories of the farm
Here is Moo...
We started the day shopping in the small town of Weeping Water, went to a pumpkin patch somewhere around there and ended at the winery.... what a LOVELY day!
Then last night was HALLOWEEN! Love it! Started the day with Linda being a sport, for a shoot out photo... that I didn't even post...
a blonde, texting while driving.... SPOOKY!
next we have Minnie Moo
the shot I finally entered as my second one:
and I will close this post with the coolest treat holder I have ever seen!
Have a great week!
